880 million out of the world population are illiterate and women two third of it is represented by women. Out of the 125 million who are not privileged to attend a school 70 percent is comprised of girls. Extremist social traditions and primitive religious norms have significantly created barriers for the social and educational development of girls. This can highly be seen in Asia and Africa where a considerable number of adults are still obliged to such cultural practices.
As education is the key to success of any child the CRC regularly conducts educational programs children can participate from the class room or at home. We encourage the preparation of children to be enrolled to a school by assisting parents. Training teachers to use effective teaching practices and using volunteers to encourage children towards reading is another priority of us.
In addition to the regular curriculum we strive to implant drama, music and dancing skills in children which would help in their personality building.
In the meantime we ensure children are in good health in order to continue their studies successfully.
